1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HowAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you may not use the service.

2Use License

Permission is granted to use HowAI for creating documentation and video guides for personal and commercial use. You retain ownership of all content you create using HowAI.

3Disclaimer

The materials on HowAI's website are provided on an "as is" basis. HowAI makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

4Subscriptions & Team Access

  • Team collaboration and member invitations are reserved for the Enterprise/Pro Plan.
  • Project owners (Admins) can delegate write permissions to at most one team member at any given time.
  • If a subscription is not renewed, invited team members will be restricted from accessing the platform until the subscription is restored.

5Data Retention & Deletion

We value your data privacy and maintain strict retention policies:

  • Expiration Grace Period: Following the cancellation or expiration of a subscription, your data will be retained for a maximum of three (3) months.
  • Permanent Deletion: After three months of inactivity or non-subscription, all associated project data, including guide documents, screenshots, and cinematic renders, will be permanently deleted from our servers.
  • Restoration: Data can be restored if the subscription is renewed within the 3-month grace period. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.
  • Notifications: We will provide notification warnings one month, one week, and one day prior to permanent deletion.

6Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HowAI or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the materials or the permanent deletion of data after the retention period, even if HowAI has been notified of the possibility of such damage.
